Michael Boschitsch
CPA
As a trusted advisor and peer, Michael Boschitsch is known for challenging CEOs on tough
issues. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, and having served as CFO and CEO for a
number of different companies, Michael brings a strong strategic financial perspective to the
table and embraces the role of sparring partner for CEOs. The practice of transition
management also demands a strong understanding of communications and human dynamics,
which come from some three decades of experience and Michael’s current pursuit of a
degree in Organizational Leadership Psychology.
A serial entrepreneur at heart, the energy involved in start-up projects sparked the beginning
of Michael’s consulting career and since then, his experience has expanded significantly to
include the construction, retail, pet care, film & entertainment, homestay, technology,
environmental and professional services industries. Michael brings his expertise to our team
of inspiring alignment within changing environments, has developed and delivered
numerous accredited courses for municipalities across Canada, has spoken at many events
and conferences as a subject matter expert and is a published author with the American
Public Works Association in the United States.
Michael is a strong believer in giving back, as evidenced by his previous voluntary role as the
Chairman of the Aga Khan Social Welfare Board for BC, overseeing the care and advocacy
for the marginalized amongst a community of approximately 15,000 people. He currently
volunteers in youth outreach and youth at risk as well as in the community’s disaster
management response strategy through Focus Humanitarian Canada and The Canadian Red
Cross
